职位描述: JobTitle:ProjectEngineer,VE(ValueEngineering)Department:ASO-VEReportsTo:VEManager Summary Thecandidateisresponsibleofleadingandmanagingcost-outprojectsrelatedtoOEMProducts(finishedgoods–domesticappliances)inordertodeliverannualsavingsthatmeetcompanyobjectiveswhileimprovingproductsquality.Workingwithexternalsuppliersandinternalcustomers,theroleisacriticalbridgetosupportongoingcostcompetitiveOEMProductsourcing. InadditiontoVEactivities,thecandidatewillsupportotherASOandinternalcustomermarketfunctionsregardingtechnicalaspectsofproductselection,development,qualificationandimprovement.  Essentialdutiesandresponsibilities ?LeadacrossfunctionteamtoperformandmanageteardownandanyothertasksrelatedtoVEforOEMproducts.WorkwithsuppliersandASOsourcingteamtogenerateanalignedcostreductionprogram,aligningalsowithpurchasingmarketfunctions(R&D,Marketing,Quality.) ?Managemultipleprojectssimultaneouslyinterfacingthroughcross-disciplineteamsinvolvingsuppliers,purchasing,marketing,R&D,quality,manufacturingandsafety. ?Providedesignengineeringsupportconsistingofcomponentandsub-systemredesignofOEMproducts.Resolveproblems,meetdeadlines,andhandlefast-pacedcriticalworkenvironments.Generateideasthatreducecost. ?Workwithsuppliersonprocessdesignandcontroltoensurequalityproduct. ?Organizeandfollowuptestingplanforcomponents/FinishedGoods.Ahands-onapproachisamusttofullyunderstandprojectscope.  Competenciesneeded ?BachelordegreeinEngineering,minimum2yearsexperience(Applianceindustryisaplus) ?PersonalcomputerskillsincludingMicrosoftExcel,WordandPowerPoint. ?Teamworkoriented. ?Technicalknowledgeinordertodevelopandperformtestingplans. ?Projectmanagementskills. ?Expertiseinmanufacturingprocessesandthecostdriversassociatedwiththem. ?Productand/orProcessQualityknowledgeanadvantage. ?Effectivelyandtactfullycommunicateverballyandinwritingtosellideasandstrategies. ?Mandarin,withstrongEnglishskillsamust.
